During our visual art and oral language we noticed that the Kea Hub learners has lots of wondered about the history of our school gateway.
This began our Hub's inquiry of "What lies beneath our feet?" and "Who walked here before us?" the history of our place.
In groups, our learners formed questions they wanted to investigate. They then had to decide how to create and share what they learned with other.
We hit a few road blocks... sometimes the answers you want take longer to find out than the timeframe, or you discover noone knows the answers.
In the end all groups learned something new and were able to create and share this learning in their own way.
The kaiako also learned that all the learners need to work on their paraphrasing skills!
