Today is Pink Shirt Day. Here is a google slide to tell you all about it!
Please leave a comment so we can reflect on our learning.
There are photos to support this event on the resource room windows. Have a look to see if you're there, wearing your brightest pink to support positive behaviour at Hamilton East School.

Kapa Haka Practise
Today, I had the pleasure of observing this amazing group of students practising their Kapa Haka items. They are strong and proud and disciplined. Ka pai Kapa Haka rōpū.

Welcome Back!
Kia ora koutou.Welcome back to all the students returning to Room 8 & 9 of Kea Hub. We are excited about the year ahead. We have had a great time these last two days with Mrs D and Whaea Kat on Thursday, and with Whaea Kat and Jude on Friday. We have been enjoying learning how to play cooperative games like 'knotted hands' , 'hoop around the circle' and 'alligator alley'. Lots of talking and listening to others make these activities very successful.
